::Reaching The Lowest Point::

Matt woke up on Eva's soft bed and he could feel her soft and slow breathing. He didn't feel good about it at all. Was Eva going to pay him just because he slept with her or is he going to actually do work in this place. For the first time... he felt nothing more than just a gigglo. Matt got out of the bed and showered. He just needed to get everything off of him and want to forget everything.

After a shower, Matt pulled on his white top and buckled his belt. He glanced across the bed where Eva was still sound asleep.

"You should be happy. You got to sleep with a beautiful woman like Eva. Count your lucky stars stupid," Matt tried to psycho himself into thinking that way but his heart didn't seem to follow his thoughts. He just felt so rotten...

Matt took out the tools and started on cleaning up Eva's walls at her gallery. He wanted to do some work. At least he did not make a wasted trip to her gallery... or rather her house and her bedroom. As he cleaned the walls, he wished that he could erase what happened. He never thought that he would ever feel this way about sleeping with a woman before.

"Matt?"

Matt turned around and saw Eva standing there. He started feeling a little awkward and felt his feet getting shifty.

"Thank you for doing the walls," Eva said.

"It's my job isn't it?" Matt replied. Eva smiled and stepped over to hand him a cheque.

Matt scowled and he didn't understand what was going on. He looked at it. It was a hefty sum for just cleaning her walls.

"What's this for?" he asked. Eva just smiled and turned away. Matt puleld her back and passed her back the cheque.

"I don't need you to pay me for... for sex!" Matt said and took his stuff to leave but Eva took his hand.

"I'm not paying you for sex. It's for your services... I know you need it. You've not had any income for a rather long time," she commented.

Matt felt outraged. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Eva was certainly a woman with power... but she shouldn't have the power to make him feel inadequate.

"Eva, what I need is to be respected as an artist, a craftsman... not some gigglo that you can twist around your fingers! I don't need your money... keep it," he said and walked out of the house.

Eva continued calling him back but Matt decided to walk on and out of the place that made him feel like he had reached the lowest point of his career... or rather, life.
