::Argument::

As Luke drove on, Charlotte just stared out the window pane blankly as though the world just lost its color and hues. Luke could not help but feel guilty making Charlotte look so dazed.

"Char? Are you alright?" Luke asked. Charlotte just nodded but her eyes were still glazed and there was thst blank 'what-am-i-doing-here' look.

"You're not alright. Tell me what is wrong," Luke said, "or at least tell me how to wipe that blank look off your face."

Charlotte turned away from the window and sighed, Her hands were still fiddling with the sketch that Matt drew. She knew that everytime she looked at it she would remember him... his smile and the way he just made her feel happy ever since Dylan...

"Char? Are you still with me?" Luke asked as he took a glance at Charlotte and she nodded. Luke coaxed her to share her problems with him. Maybe he could be of help and confidant.

"How did you find Matt... that friend I was talking to just now?" Charlotte asked after much hesitation.

Luke stopped the car and sighed, "Oh not this talk again."

Charlotte started to get angry, "You made me talk to you in the first place!"

"That was not what I meant... I first heard that question a few years ago when I first saw you with Dylan and look where it got you? All upset, hurt and disappointed. I don't want you to go through that again. You can't get into another relationship so quickly!" Luke explained.

"I didn't say I like him in THAT way. We're just friends and I thought he was attractive," Charlotte answered.

"Char, I don't want you to be hurt again by other men. I don't want to see you cry for another guy anymore. A relationship is for two people to be happy," Luke said.

Charlotte started to get very defensive... all because she knew Luke was right. She wasn't ready at all and Matt was going to suffer for it.

"Just drive me back. I don't want to talk about this anymore," Charlotte said as she turned away from Luke. She didn't want to be reminded of her past nor was she going to let Luke chide her about her possible future. However, she couldn't hide that fact that she was interested to know Matt better and somehow see if Matt was going to be the one for her since Dylan...

Matt couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that Charlotte could not see his works and a little angry at himself for getting involved with someone he could not attain.

"She has a boyfriend that drives a nice car and cares for her. I can't even provide her with anything at my state of living," Matt chided himself as he kick the corner of his door.

Matt needed release and to know that he was still wanted. He looked at the phone and he picked the receiver up. He sighed as he dialed Eva's number...

Luke finally drove Charlotte back to the shop and without a word, Charlotte just jumped out of the car and went into the back of the shop, locking herself in the storeroom to cool off.

"What happened Luke?" Mrs Webber asked, "Did you upset her?"

Luke sighed and was about to head to the storeroom to coax her out but Mrs Webber stopped him, saying it was not a good idea.

"She needs some time to cool off. Come back later or tomorrow morning when she is feeling better. She won't talk to anyone at the moment," Mrs Webber said. Luke nodded and left the shop.
