::Smiles All Around::

"That's great news Matt! I'm so happy for you," Charlotte said when Matt broke the news to her, "Of course I will maybe..."

Just as she was arranging the next meet up with Matt, Annanessa's wedding planner stolled in, diva-ish and all as Charlotte's mother went to greet her at the door. She was non other than the best wedding planner in all of the country but also knowing for her nose in the air style of working.

"Got to go. Client is here. I'll call you later," Charlotte whispered on the phone before she hung up.

"Hi I'm Charlotte Webber." Charlotte introduced herself as she stuck out her hand for a formal handshake but the wedding planner either didn't realise her petite hand or she was just too 'up there' to take the handshake.

"Yvette Charlzton. Wedding planner for Lady Annanessa and Sir Alexander. I never knew the lady had a charm for small shops like this," Yvette said as she scanned through the beautiful flowers.

"Annanessa was my old friend from school and I guess she wanted someone close to her to help her with her wedding. It's a once in a lifetime affair right?" Charlotte remarked.

"That's why I'm here to make sure you don't get things all wrong for this 'once in a lifetime affair. You're not doing floral arrangements for just any client. They are royalties and I expect you to have the best for them..." Yvette said all knowingly as though Charlotte was an imbecile.

Charlotte resented the way Yvette talked to her but she kept telling herself she was doing it for Annanessa and not this tall prick of a diva as she showed Yvette around.

In the midst of Yvette's scowering looks and deep thoughts as she examined each type of flower Charlotte had in the shop, Charlotte managed to whisper some instructions to her mother and Luke telling them to manage the regular customers while she took care of Yvette.

"Too common," Yvette said, brushing away some of the roses and orchids that Charlotte prized herself for. "Too dull" was Yvette's comment for the daisies and tulips Charlotte had. "Why do you have these flowers here in the first place??" was Yvettes way of saying Charlotte didn't know how to be a good florist.

After a whole hour and a half of screening, Yvette finally settled and Charlotte filled out the order form for her. In total she spent as much as what Charlotte and her mother paid for their shop solely on the flowers. Charlotte didn't dare to imagine what the ceremony, cake and even the gown would cost.

"My assistant will call you about the times that you have to be there to do the floral arrangements and the flowers better stay fresh for the whole cremony. Paolo! Take their card and the order form!" Yvette orderd as her latin assistant gingerly took his place and swiped the stuff from the table.

"Paolo! The invitation!" she ordered again as Paolo handed Charlotte a creamy white enevlope with her name calligraphed perfectly on the front with a traditional type wax seal on the back of it.

"Lady Annanessa told me to extend this invite to you. Till then, remember the type and condition of the flowers are of extreme importance." Yvette said before sashaying back to the awaiting limo with Paolo the trusty assistant flashing Charlotte his brilliant latin smile.

As the limo drove off, Mrs Webber stood by her daughter and shook her head, "What a queen!" Charlotte looked at her mother and laughed. She didn't know her mother knew what a queen was in common language.

Matt flipped through the newspaper and thought of the things he wanted to do with the money. He could buy a new apartment and have more room to do his painting... he could also use new furniture... he noticed an advertisement for a smarty kitchen and wondered if it would be smart enough to make him homecooked meals everyday. By now he was getting sick of burgers, chinese take out and microwaved pasta.

Just as he was about to dig into another of his mircowaved meals, the phone rang and he rushed to pick it up in hope it was his new found love... and it was her, telling him of the crazy incident with a wedding planner who was all prissy and made her life a living hell for an hour and a half but gave her a deal which which really huge.

"That means tonight we should celebrate right? Besides, I need your help in some stuff too," Matt said and Charlotte said she would pop by his place after work.

"Alright. Till then, I miss you," Matt said. Hearing that she missed him too set him on a bliss...
