::Two Guys & A Girl::

Luke stopped by the shop to see if Charlotte and her mother needed help at the new shop. He was eager to see Charlotte again and invite her out again to spend some quality time together.

As he entered the shop, he noticed Mrs Webber trying to hang something up on the wall.

"Oh Mrs Webber let me help you with that," Luke said as he rushed to help her do it, "Where's Charlotte? She should be helping you do these things."

"Oh thank you Lucas. Charlotte's not here today. I gave her some time to rest. She's been working on this shop for days and she needs to get her energy back for the grand opening. Can't have a boss who looks like a raccoon," Mrs Webber said and as she looked up at Luke, she saw that Luke was a little upset and disappointed when he realised Charlotte was not around.

"You are in love with her, aren't you Luke?" Mrs Webber asked. Luke tried to run away from that question but his eyes told another story.

"You didn't just appear at that smoothie store and coincidentally met up with her... right?" Mrs Webber continued to probe. Luke started to get shifty and uncomfortable. He never expected her to know about these things.

"You knew she was already in town and you knew she was going to be there. Oh you sneaky thing..." Mrs Webber said but before Luke could say anything back in defense of what he had done, Mrs Webber smiled.

"She called you didn't she? I knew it... she still cares for you even through all these years. I can tell she likes you," Mrs Webber said.

"Yeah I guess," Luke said, softly letting out a sigh of relief.

Mrs Webber smiled, she knew it all along. Those two were meant to be together from the very beginning but they just needed a little boosting from the old woman.

"Go ahead and go up to our apartment," Mrs Webber said, throwing a bunch of keys at Luke, "Surprise her with something. She'll love it." Luke looked at the keys in his hands and thanked Mrs Webber before he rushed out to his car to get to Charlotte's house.

However, when Luke arrived at the house, it was pitch black and no one was at home. He called for Charlotte a few times and realised she went out. He was about to give up when he realised she could not have gone far... Luke knew Charlotte loved to take a walk around the block on her own and just think... if he tried, he could find her somewhere around town. Luke picked up his stuff and went back into his car.

"You really made those kids happy back at the park," Charlotte said and smiled at Matt. It was nearly nightfall and they were packing up Matt's stuff onto the scooter.

"I love my job. It lets me see so many different types of people and interact with them. The innocence of children can never be fully painted onto a canvas... the smile of a beautiful girl can never be fully embraced through a sketch but I tried," Matt said and pulled out the sketch that he had done of Charlotte.

"Matt this is so beautiful. Thank you," Charlotte gasped as she saw herself through Matt's eyes for the first time. She looked really beautiful.

"I'm glad you like it. Come on, let me send you home..." Matt suggested as he saddled up on his scooter.

"I don't wanna go home yet. I want to see more of your works... please?" Charlotte asked.

Matt's heart leaped when Charlotte wanted to go over to his apartment. It meant that if he played the right cards, he would be so much closer to winning Charlotte over and...

"It'll be just for a moment. I promise I'll be out of there by eight," Charlotte interrupted Matt's train of scheming thoughts. Matt agreed and Charlotte got onto the scooter, placing her hands around him. Matt felt comforted knowing that she was around him.
