::Familiarity::

It has been a few days since Matt saw Charlotte and he started to miss her so much. Though he has been really busy with all the fitting sessions, time out with his brother to go sailing, fishing, bowling and whatever crazy things Alex could think of doing. It was as though he was going to lose all his freedom once he got married and he was really dying to do everything and anything at the moment.

Matt slipped away from his brother for a few minutes to make the call back to Charlotte - just to hear her voice. As the phone rang, Matt was a little worried she might not pick up.

"Hello?" Charlotte's voice rang through the phone, Matt felt his world was in order again.

"Charlotte dear, it's me," Matt said as he felt himself beaming.

"Matt! I'm so glad you finally called back. I thought you might have forgotten all about me," Charlotte said.

"Silly girl. I miss you so much and would never forget about you. It's just that my brother has been so excited to see me that he's been planning all these activities and..." Matt said but caught himself in time not to talk about the wedding.

"... I've something to tell you," Charlotte interrupted just in time, "My mother and I are travelling upstate to handle our client's event. We're going... ermm... I suddenly can't remember the name... S... something."

"Are you going Sofres? I heard it's pretty chilly up there. You better bring some warm clothes," Matt said.

"I will take care of myself, don't you worry. It's you that I am more concerned about. Besides, I have my mother to take care of me. Oh she sends her regards," Charlotte answered.

At that time, somehow Alex popped into the room and signalled for Matt to get off the phone and on to do some crazy activity again. "I have to go now. My brother is annoying me again. I'll call you again soon..."

"... No. I would be upstate and would be too busy to answer any phone calls. Just promise me you'll be back soon and come find me at the shop," Charlotte said. Matt agreed and hung on just a little longer to hear Charlotte hang up the phone.

"Matt! Come on! We're going parasailing!" Alex called out as he waved his wetsuit in front of Matt.

"Can't we just chill and relax at home or something?" Matt sighed, "I don't mind playing a game of chess or something. Just anything to keep you rooted to the house."

Alex looked a little disappointed but placed his wetsuit down, "Alright, if you wanna stay home we'll just chill by the fireplace and talk." Matt thanked his brother as they made their way into the lounge where Albert served them coffee and some snacks.

"Finally... I get to just sit here and do nothing," Matt said as he leaned back on the armchair and closed his eyes, "Are you nervous about the wedding or something? What's with the sudden surge of energy to go do crazy stuff? I mean, I'm supposed to be the bad crazy son here. You're taking my role!"

Alex laughed, "I guess every guy would be nervous considering that his wedding is in a week's time. This is a big step for me... out of the comfort zone... I'll be a husband, a companion to someone beautiful and wonderful."

Matt leant over and pat his brother on the back, "You'll be a great husband and soon to be father. Just chill... you don't have to do anything out of the ordinary."

Alex sighed, "I just hope you are right about this."

After Charlotte hung up the phone with Matt, she went back to fussing with Annanessa's flowers. She had quite a bit of problems making sure that everything was in before they moved to the wedding venue. So she decided to call Annanessa and hope she wouldn't mind delaying the travel.

"Of course not silly! What would be a good time to send the transport over?" Annanessa said when Charlotte told her of the problem.

"I think a couple of days before the wedding would be best because the flowers would be fresh and we would still have time to organise everything," Charlotte answered.

"You're right. We can't have dull flowers in the weddding. I'll get the guys to pick you up two days before the wedding. Thanks so much for thinking about it. I am so busy that I can't even be bothered about these details!" Annanessa complained.

"Don't worry Annie. That's why you've hired us to help you through this. It would be a great wedding," Charlotte answered, hoping to calm the nerves of her friend.

"Thanks Charry. I hope you're right about this," Annanessa replied.
