::Two Days....::

Finally... the wedding is in two days and everyone has been scurrying around the manor getting everything ready. It was the final dress rehearsal before the actual wedding and Matt didn't like wearing a suit. He felt so uncomfortable.

"This is so not me," Matt frowned as he adjusted his jacket again. Alex gave his brother an assuring smile that said 'bear with it for me please'. Matt groaned and then stood beside his brother as they awaited the bride.

Annanessa looked as pretty as ever and the bridal gown just made her look even more gorgeous. Alex was beaming as she was ushered down the aisle by Paolo, the wedding planner's obviously gay assistant.

After a gruelling hour of practice of how the perfect walk and the perfect way of saying the vows... the rehearsal was finally over. Matt jumped with glee as he took off his jacket and shirt.

"Matt! What are you doing?" Alex asked as Annanessa cuddled in with him, "You shouldn't be stripping like this!"

"Hey I endured an hour in that damn thing. You should give me at least a minute to change into something more comfortable!" Matt scowled as he put on his t-shirt.

Annanessa was laughing, "Your brother has such a nice body, why don't you just let him show it off?" Alex rolled his eyes and kissed his bride.

"Keep your eyes on this one only," Alex said as Annanessa laughed along with him.

"God, this is too mushy. I'm outta here. Going back to sleep," Matt said as he threw the jacket and shirt on his shoulder and walked out. Just that that point, Charlotte and her mother appeared from another door with the flowers. Annanessa shrieked with joy.

"Charry! I'm so glad you made it!" Annanessa said as she ran over and threw her arms over Charlotte.

"Wow Annie you look so beautiful. Gosh..." Charlotte said as she twirled Annanessa around. Annanessa thanked her before pulling her fiance towards Charlotte.

"This is Alexander Charles Polster, my husband. And Alex, this is Charlotte, my best friend back in school and she's here to help with the flowers too. She's great with flowers," Annanessa introduced.

"Pleased to meet you Charlotte. I'm sure you'll make this place wonderful for the wedding," Alex replied. Charlotte smiled and said she'll try her best. As the couple left to attend to some final wedding plans, Charlotte and her mother went on to work.

"Wow... this is a very grand manor," Mrs Webber said as she started to clip small bunches of lilies to the stage while Charlotte instructed the workers to start placing the bigger arrangements.

"Mom, that Alexander guy looks really familiar... but I just can't put my finger on how I know him..." Charlotte asked.

"You might have seen him back in school when he was chasing Annie? You might forgot all about it considering you were still having your nose in your books," Mrs Webber teased her daughter.

"Very funny mother. Now let's get everything done so we can relax in the hotel tomorrow and get ready for a wonderful wedding!" Charlotte said as she went back to work.

Matt was lazing in his bed when there was a knock on the door. He called for the person to come in when he realised it was his mother.

"Matthew, how was the rehearsal? Everything alright?" Lady Polster asked. Matt nodded and sat up on his bed while his mother sat beside him.

"Everything's great Mother. Lex will have a wonderful wedding," Matt answered, "but that is not why you are here right? You want to talk to me about something?"

Lady Polster smiled, "Somehow you always know when I wanted to talk to you about something. I was just thinking... maybe you could move back here, permanently." When Matt heard that his face turned sour and he groaned.

"Mother... I'm not going to have this conversation with you..." Matt answered.

"... I know how much you want a life of your own son. I've spoken to your Father and he is agreeable to let you continue your work as an artist. You don't have to do odd jobs and survive out there. You can have all the materials and equipment you need right here," Lady Polster said.

Matt sighed, "Mother, I just want to lead a life without the 'Sir Matthew William Polster' name tagged on my head. I just wanna lead a normal life. I don't want people to like my works just because I'm the son of the honorable Lord Polster."

Lady Polster looked a little disappointed and Matt hated to disappoint his mother. He reached over and gave her a hug. "Mother, I know how much pain you've suffered through these years when I'm away but I promise you that my love for you and Lex will never dwindle. I just wanna me my own man. I'll consider your offer but it's nothing definite yet."

"Alright. Think about it. See you later for dinner," Lady Polster said as she planted a kiss on her son's forehead before leaving him to laze on his bed. Matt sighed and just closed his eyes to think of Charlotte and how happy she makes him.
