::Turn Back Time...::

Matt went around town to find a perfect outfit for the night. He didn't want to appear too fancy nor did he want to look as shabby as he does now. After leaving home for so long, he forgot what it was like to be dressed in the best and be waited on hand and foot.

Back home, he had his every need attended to. He and his brother had a fashion consultant to make sure that they were stylish and ready for any press coverage because they were the golden boys of Eisenberg. Since birth, everyone was concerned about what the boys did.

From their first appearance in the annual dinner and dance and Matt was made to dance with this oversized girl and Alex made fun of his little brother all night till the boys' final prom. Somehow Matt was always looked upon by the press of Eisenberg as the bad boy.

Whenever the press got hold of a scandalous piece of news on Matt, his father would go into a rage and start chiding Matt. However, Alex would always come to his rescue and accept punishment for his little brother. Matt's heart ached when Alex had to go without dinner or get grounded because of him.

Finally, one day when Alex defended Matt against his father for theft, Matt decided to make a vow to his brother. "Alex, I promise to be good. I won't let you suffer again because of me," Matt said.

However, that was not the last time as the biggest challenge for Alex was to help Matt excape Eisenberg to pursue Matt's dream of being an artist. Till now, Alex is paying the price for Matt.

Suddenly, Matt just woke up from his thoughts. He wondered how he ever got to thinking about his past just by intending to get a new outfit for the night.

"At least I'm doing Alex a favour by attending his stupid wedding. I'd probably get so much chiding from Father that I think I would need to get earplugs before I make my way home," Matt thought to himself and let out a soft snigger.

Finally, he decided to stop by a factory outlet at the outskirts of town. He just hope he could find something decent... like a pair of dress pants for starters.

Since that incident, Charlotte just went silent. Mrs Webber and Luke wondered what was going through Charlotte's mind. After Luke told Mrs Webber what happened, she chided him for being so insensitive and told him never to say anything that hurtful to Charlotte again.

Charlotte was busy making sure everything was in perfect order for tomorrow's meeting with the wedding planner. Charlotte did not just want to make money out of this but she wanted her best friend's wedding to have the perfect flowers because she couldn't give Annanessa anything expensive for her wedding.

When she was done, she looked at her watch. It was soon time to meet Matt and she didn't want to look all dirty and messy with soiled clothing. She dusted herself and placed her equipment down.

"I'm going home now. Mom, could you close the shop for me?" Charlotte asked, "I have something to do." Mrs Webber agreed as Charlotte walked out of the shop without saying anything else.

Luke and Mrs Webber looked at each other in dismay. "You hurt her big time Luke. I think you better leave her to do what she wants and like who she likes," Mrs Webber said.

"You mean you know who she likes?" Luke asked, "Please tell me it's not that painter dude."

Mrs Webber knew Luke had to know sooner or later and she didn't want to see him get antagonised by this love triangle anymore as well as she didn't want to see her daughter get upset by this again.

"Yes, she likes Matt. So please let her follow her heart? You cannot change fate Luke," Mrs Webber said before heading out to the back to clean up.

Luke just stood there for a moment. He realised that after all these years, everything didn't matter to Charlotte. Plus, all that he had done didn't amount to change anything. He had to think of a better way to make Charlotte see...
