::Reflections::

Charlotte and Luke went back to the shop to help out but somehow Charlotte couldn't stop thinking about Matt and what he said. Maybe her mother was right... she should be taking this on a more positive note. Maybe a rich man's son could actually be truly interested in his passion than all the money his father could offer. If he could be self sufficient and survive on his own two feet, maybe he really truly loved her.

However, she still had to accept the fact that she is falling for him. Matt truly cared for her and somehow made her feel wanted. All the feelings that she had with Dylan was somehow on par with what Matt made her feel over the past few months. Charlotte remembered the first time they met at the park... how they destested each other and how she called him a busker.

She could still remember how they started to argue in the middle of the park and how haughty he made her. Somehow she couldn't believe how far they got from there. After that somehow they just miraculously met because Matt was the artist for her shop banner. Charlotte walked out of the shop and looked up at the banner and how beautifully Matt had done it.

Somehow she just lost the time to just admire the beauty that Matt has done in her life. The magic he somehow brought back into the washed out picture of her life because of what happened to Dylan. Matt just took his magical brush and colored every single detail back alive and Charlotte was truly smiling.

She recalled how Matt brought her for a picnic and how they just played like little kids, splashing water at each other, counting how many stars were in the sky and skipping stones on the lake.

And that first kiss... that magical kiss they had. She could still remember what Matt said to her... "Charlotte, you make me the happiest and the luckiest man on earth when you're with me. You are not only my inspiration but you mark a new beginning in my life."

That made Charlotte weak in the knees... the words he spoke and the way he spoke them. Matt was indeed someone special but that couldn't erase the fact that he hid his life from her for so long...

But then Charlotte also remembered how Matt could make any one smile with his work. Charlotte thought about what Matt told her that morning of how he wanted to chase his own dreams and not his father's and how Alexander helped him make it through. She could see all the hurt and pain through his eyes. She knew it wasn't an easy choice for Matt... just like it wasn't an easy choice for her to let go of Dylan.

Mrs Webber saw her daughter lingering outside the shop and just looking at the banner. She knew Charlotte was just thinking of Matt. Mrs Webber placed her stuff down and stood beside her daughter.

"He repainted your world Charlotte," Mrs Webber said.

Charlotte looked at her mother and smiled, "Yeah... with a beautiful rainbow."

"Why can't you forgive him?" Mrs Webber asked.

Charlotte sighed, "I'm trying, Mom. Somehow it's just hard to accept reality... like how it was hard to accept the reality that Dylan is dead." At that moment, Charlotte started to tear.

Mrs Webber couldn't say anything anymore and just hugged her daughter, "Just do what your heart tells you to. Dylan will be watching over you... like he always does."

Charlotte looked up at the sky and somehow she could see Dylan looking down at her. His deep set eyes and warm smile was just the way she remembered it. She continued to cry but she closed her eyes and silently asked Dylan to help her decide on what the next move was.

Matt lay on his bed and looked at the ring that he bought for Charlotte. He wondered if he was putting the cart before the horse. He wasn't even sure that she would turn up in the first place. His eyes just glazed as he kept looking at the ring. Somehow the picture of Charlotte smiling as she wears the ring on her finger just warmed his heart. He couldn't be sure that she could meet him but he was sure where his heart was.
