::Worries & Concerns::

Mrs Webber woke up that Sunday morning only to realise she hadn't seen Charlotte since yesterday evening. She decided to check up on her daughter and quietly opened the door to Charlotte's bedroom. Mrs Webber heaved a sigh when she saw Charlotte soundly asleep on her bed. She was all curled up between her sheets and she never looked more serene.

As Mrs Webber was about to leave the room, she noticed a bottle lying on the floor... she picked it up and realised why Charlotte was sleeping so soundly. She took her antidepressants pills that she had gotten off from since they moved back into town. What happened that made Charlotte go back to her medication?

Matt woke up feeling a little dazed. He fumbled through the mess on the floor and finally found his shirt and pants. After dressing up, he looked down on his bed... Eva was still wrapped up in the blanket and sleeping soundly. He decided he should make them coffee, as well as get away from Eva for a while.

As Matt made coffee and sandwiches for breakfast, it reminded him of how much fun he had while having sandwiches with Charlotte that day. That warmed his heart and made him think of what could happen with Charlotte... he could be happy for once.

Just then, the phone rang and afraid that it might wake Eva up, Matt rushed to pick it up. It was his brother, Alexander.

"Have you decided to come to my wedding yet?" Alex asked. Matt sighed... that was something he tried to push to the back of his mind for a long time and now it was resurfacing without an answer for his beloved brother.

Mrs Webber placed the bottle on the kitchen counter as Luke stared blankly at it.

"That's Charlotte's antidepressants. She started taking them a few weeks after what happened to Dylan," Mrs Webber said, "She started taking them again last night."

"And that has something to do with me?" Luke asked, still very much puzzled.

"Something must have triggered her to start taking them again. She swore off those pills for quite some time. What happened between you and Charlotte?" Mrs Webber asked, her tons full of worry and concern.

"Well... as I was sending her home, she was going on about some guy and I told her that she should not get into another relationship so quickly," Luke replied, "That was all I said. She didn't let me say anything else." Mrs Webber sighed and dunked the empty medicine bottle into the bin.

Just then, Charlotte opened her bedroom door and walked out. Mrs Webber and Luke watched as Charlotte held her head with her hand and lumbered forward to the couch. She looked so dazed and tired. Luke rushed forward with a glass of water, scared that Charlotte might be dehydrated.

"Drink up Char," Luke said as he helped Charlotte with the water, "Are you feeling better." Charlotte nodded and lay down on the couch - staring blankly at everything.

"I'm sorry Char... I shouldn't have said anything in the car yesterday," Luke apologised and hoped she'll respond to him, "I'll let you do anything that makes you happy."

Charlotte just looked at Luke and forced a smile, "I'm fine... really. I just need more of my..." She reached into her pocket and drew out another bottle of her antidepressants. Mrs Webber snatched it out of Charlotte's hands.

"No more Charlotte! You promised not to take them again!" Mrs Webber shouted, "You need to voice out your worries and not just try to make them go away with medicine!"

"I don't want to talk anymore! When I want to talk, no one was around... now there's no point talking! Everyone just go away!" Charlotte said and rushed back into her room, locking the doors and she started to cry on the bed.

Then from the corner of her eye, she saw Matt's sketch of her lying on her bedroom floor... she looked happy, beautiful and everything she wasn't feeling at the moment. As soon as she knew Matt saw her in a beautiful light, she felt her heart settle... her worry was slowly disappearing.
